Pretty sure I've seen it in the flesh but it had advertising decals on it too at the time. Certainly caught my eye. Not to my taste though.

why has someone gone and hacked up a nice xb gt bonnet for an AU.. this person needs some talking too, not easy to come by a gt bonnet these days!

If the front wasnt sooo yellow it would look alright.

ive seen a few cars around with XB bonnets on them latly!!
i believe its a fibreglass reproduction tho so dont fret guys!! looks nice on some cars but not others! better than the stupid monaro ones!

what an abortion of an AU. :
deadset. there are people out there, that definately give the AU a bad name. thats not the first ive seen with the XB/C boonet scoops either. =S seriously, what are these people thinking when they make an already ugly car into that, or something worse. do they think they are improving it? whatever the **** they are smoking, they sure as hell better pass it to me.

i have seen far worse cars than that, if it was a advertising vehicle to a company previosuly i am sure it grabbed peoples attention and did its job ...

How can the owner of that honestly stand back and say... " that looks so nice " ? Almost as bad as that white AU with the supra front with the same bonnet style. (not fuzmobil) |

The person who did it obviously likes the ute, or at least did at one stage prior to wanting to sell it.
Is this thread nothing more than bashing someone else's idea of what they want in a car?

It's looks so much better on the xb, big and fat, the au is more of a sleek look I reckon. That's just my opinion.
