I cant be buggered reading all that.

In a short few sentences, what is the point that they are trying to make? I didnt even know Google Had an email system like yahoo and hotmail....

There is nothing creepy about gmail, that site is crap. Looks whos running hotmail... I would trust Google over MSN anyday.

well read the laws. after 180days or something they dont have to protect your privacy or something along the lines, gmail encourages NOT TO DELETE :P

What you posted is totally out of context. After 180 days any emails on Googles database are no longer considered private correspondance but are delegated to being database entries and therefore can be looked at by government officials with only a subpeona instead of requiring a warrant. The guy who wrote this article is a dipshit, all he's trying to do is induce panic in people (that seems to be the "in thing" in America right now). As a whole I think the article is bullshit, although I found the section about the "relevant" advertisements rather interesting.

Funny thing is, the gmail-is-too-creepy people have been spamming gmail accounts, its obvouisly not too creepy to spam.

Everyones got 50, so all the sites that were designed to help people get gmail accounts are closing because its no longer difficult to get an account.

I dont have a gmail account mainly cos im just so used to Hotmail and i find Yahoo really weird to use. That and i have no complaints with what i get/have now, so if it aint broke.......

had my hotty account for tooo long now.. about 8 years or somethin(signed up when it was pre microsoft)... happy coz as much as i use it i get minimal spam(even in the junk area)..
