Default Women and wrinkles...

Ok, since there are mostly guys on here I have to ask this: Does it really matter to a guy if a woman gets wrinkles?

Because advertising has most women I know running for all kinds of potions, pills, botox and plastic surgery... and it's scary. The latest ad involves a woman who is 32 ffs talking about wrinkles with her friends! And it got me thinking, I'm 34, should I be starting to think of these things!?!?!

I saw Priscilla Presley the other day in a magazine at the doctor's surgery... she looks truly awful! Her face is frozen and expressionless.

Do men really want this?

In all seriousness, i think its a loud of rubbish, getting butox and other things, like oh look i got the fat from my *** on my face!! I personally wouldn't worry about it, if thats all a bloke looks for there shallow and your better off without them.

Don't reply fellas, it's a trap:

:hihi:

But in all seriousness, I can't speak for all guys, only myself, but I know it's not something that is high on my list of priorities - intelligence and being able to have a decent conversation is much more important to me.

From my perspective, I have wrinkles my wife has wrinkles so we love each others wrinkly bits, wobbly bits, flabby bits and ugly bits. As you get older you accept loving different bits.

Thanks for that Troy... I am the number of the beast! :jab: :

Nah really I just don't get it, all these advertising dollars spent, telling women the world over "you are nothing without this product", "you are old at 32" etc.

They can all get f****d.

I wouldn't worry about them, Bindi. You know those small appendaged advertising execs are just trying to feed off the insecurities that you, obviously, are much too smart to have!

I think it's up to the individual. I personally wouldn't get botox, and won't cry myself to sleep when I get wrinkles, but at 29 age is starting to catch up.

In saying that, I do have facials, waxes, 4 hour hairdressers appointments, get spray tans weekly, manicures etc, but that is just so I can feel good and confident about myself. As for transferring fat out of my **** to my face....no thankyou.

But what is the difference between a woman doing this stuff to feel feminine, than a guy going to the gym to bulk up and feel masculine?

Wrinkles aren't an issue. It's the boobs that count.

thats exactly what it is, we studied this in in year 11 english, the affects that advertising have basically they are trying to tell the young ones they are getting old and the older ladies that hey look if the younger females are starting to need this, you need this way more, even though im only 17 and to be honest old ladies dont float my boat just yet lol for any girl im with, im with them only because of the fact that a)they make me laugh, b) i like a girl with a sense of humour, c) they arent a damn psycotic!:S (ive dated my fair share of cutters and bulimics, typical my luck lol) basically put it this way, 95% of guys dont really care about looks, they fall in love using the above criteria, except when theres blonde girls in little to no clothing(instant love for jessica simpson in dukes of hazard!:P) and then theres the fact that once guys reach a certain age we dont really care for much apart from cars sports and beer:P, lol hope this gives somebody a giggle......$am

I believe we are attracted to people for how they look, but we love them for their imperfections!

I would never go out with a girl that is more concerned with perfection than enjoying life and having fun.

i reckon a few wrinkles, laugh lines etc looks a whole lot better than that stupid, fake, plastic, "GI Joe up the pooper valve" expression that too much plastic surgery and botox etc gives people.. it just makes everything about them look fake..

i.e Renee Zellwegger !!!!!
she looked hot in Jerry Maguire, but now looks terrible with those stupid chipmunk cheek things shes got haha..

I have a friend who is 30 and she keeps asking me if she has wrinkles and if she should get botox. I told her to stop being vain and get over yourself. Theres more to life than worrying about bloody wrinkles....every one eventually gets them, so who cares.
