Default Another batch of white powder

Here we are waiting for the HAZMAT team to declare the all clear (after they've finished at Parliament House and a few embassies).

WE have cops and firies all over the front of the building, and around the mail room, but no decision on the nature of the substance as yet.

These clowns keep sending the crap around, but no idea as to why, at the moment. We don't feel it's related to the Corby saga, as the embassies involved have nothing to do with that.

Still going on as we speak. Here is the "official" story, but no mention of the Department.

Looks like our emergency personnel are getting a workout. Which is experience but still better if it never happened.

Since I'm not a public servant I don't care. I am in the IT Support area, I'm not employed by the government, directly.

my guess is there will be more stupid idiot copy cats - the more the media print the story, the more it gives people ideas.

I just hope they catch the culprits and give them a very public trial.

It's not over yet....

Another one this morning, and there are around 30+ cops downstairs, including the HAZMAT team.

The people in the mailroom must be about ready to quit (or go on stress leave).

Yeah its getting really ridiculous. Id say its just copycats other than one person. Why they blurt everything out on the media i have no idea, it just gives people the idea. Some people must really have a boring life.

Most of these toss-offs do it for the publicity, and the media is only too happy to accomodate them.

Neither was I,so since when did IT exempt it self from pencil snapping, you still have to write reports and probably programme material?
