Hi everyone!
I'M from perth. Just purchased a 2007 ford focus LT auto trans. I can feel that somethings wrong with the transmission. When downshifting from 3rd to 2nd it is harsh and down shifting from 2nd to 1st gear when the car is almost stop. Does anyone know a slution on this problem? And onething, does this car has an overdrive? Coz i can feel an overdrive shift, while in 4th gear and shift to overdrive then after a few kilometers it will release. But when A/C is on, it will always shift to overdrive and intermittently releses. Is there a software upgrade on the transmission control module (TCM) and engine control module (ECM)? |

Check out the Focus thread elsewhere in the forum. They are notorious for auto problems even in the current model.

I bought it with 91000 km on. I checked the oil and found to be very dark but no burned smell. Had it serviced, replace filter and flush the oil. But as after the service it is still thesame.
