Default What a knucklehead.

http://www.news.com.au/breaking-news...-1226739292623

TWO Friday night revellers have been described as heroic for dragging a 31-year-old man from his car after he spent five minutes doing burnouts on Townsville's busiest nightclub strip.
The man, driving a black Commodore, sent plumes of black smoke into the air along Flinders St East as he swerved close to pedestrians.

Hundreds of people watched in horror as he worked his way up and down the street before two members of the public dragged him from the car and pinned him to the ground.

Police station is 500 metres away . We have had a lot of stolen cars in the last year don't know if this is one but that how they drive flat out or trying to do burnouts usually with a 14 year old girl hanging out the back window.

If morons insist on doing this kind of stuff illegally they could at least take it somewhere there aren't people flooding the streets; eg. a quiet industrial area.. it's honestly not worth risking lives over.

Didn't think i'd ever see the day that someone did that at my old stomping ground. The cops are usually in force just across the road, it must have been early in the night.

The driver is extremely lucky he didn't hit anyone, madness.

When I was up there earlier this year, that street was packed with drunk people. There's a river on the other side of the road too if I remember correctly.

It wouldn't surprise me if he blew up a breathalyser going by that stupidity.

No one to show off your sick Commodore S to in a quiet industrial estate you see. Reminds me of Chapel st in Melbourne years ago, seeing a VL doing a couple of quick doughies across the tram lines between parked cars when there was a gap in traffic, absolute lunacy to see. Or the bloke that did the same in the crowded car wash around the corner, almost taking out the attendant (never seen a bloke jump so high to miss a back bumper coming at him).

There is always going to be morons with the common sense switch stuck off unfortunately. And then they cry when cops pull them over, go figure.

I suppose some people will do anything for a few minutes of 'fame', hey. And a large majority of them all seem to drive the same make of car.

****in idiot. Typical Holden cocksmoker.

Edit - just turned on news. South perth police chase with a crackhead in a Commodore with 3 wheels. They should just ban Holdens altogether. It clearly promotes idiocy.

Every time you hear one of these stories about some moron doing something incredibly stupid I always think straight away, I'll bet they were driving a Commodore. 9 times out of 10 it is.

What is it with Commodores that promote f-wits?

Whilst I don't condone burn outs especially on a busy street. When you read the story it just sound so dramatic "everyone was fearing for their lives" as if the guy was walking around with an AK-47 and a bomb around his neck. Bystanders are hailed as heros. Really?

Melbourne F1 10 odd years had heros doing burnouts in Ferarris up and down that WOG street (Laigon?) Everyone Cheered them on. Now it everyone would be "fearing for their lives."

Pretty sure there is a major difference in skill between an F1 driver and your typical Holden douchebag.

Gotta love how the holden lovers here instantly go on youtube to find any Ford videos of hoons. Those 3 videos you posted were lame, no comparison to the dude in the first video.

Its common knowledge that 90 percent of hoons that endanger the lives of bystanders are Holden driving ****wits.

Dude, how dare you bag those **** hot AU burn outs. Far better skilz than those life endangering Holdung drivers and their crummykillerdores.

The nitwit would have been doped up on something. I mean people were clearly trying to run over & nab him & he still stuck around. LOL, long enough to get dragged from his crummydore.

Why is it when people do a burnout they think they're a hero, but those looking on clearly think nothing more than "there's the idiot of the day".

I have a lot more respect for those that respect their own property. We all know what V8's can do...enough already, NO-ONE CARES!!!
