It's time for me to change the coolant in my sisters LS. I have read the hand book so I know it takes 6.5L and the mixture is 50/50.
I had a quick look at it in the garage today, it seems near impossible to drain the coolant without getting under the car. Is there a plug for the radiator? |

Yeah you need to get under the car. The coolant drain plug is on the bottom left hand side of the radiator (ie. Passenger side). If you're the right size, you don't need even need to jack the front of the car up - you can wiggle your way underneath the front. Having said that, it makes it much easier to access the plug if you do.

Ford recommends every 4 years for the red coolant they put in the LT Focus but may be less if you use aftermarket stuff as quality varies. Brake fluid should be changed every 2-3 years
