Hey guys what is better for racing in my ba xr6 4 speed auto tip tronic or auto powermode.

I think he meant buy a 5 speed lol.
But answering your question, best I got in auto was 15.75, but I got a 15.3 in manual mode, so saved almost half a second. I know that wouldn't have been the only factor, but it's a pretty big difference.

It might be easier for people to answer if you define the Racing you intend doing.

Circuit. Rally. Sprint, Hillclimb. Drag. Offroad.

Shift the stick to the left, into performance mode. Anyway, if you are racing a corolla sportivo, you've got nothing to worry about. If you are both stock, you will take the lead, no problem at all.

Go to the drags when you get your license, and try different techniques til you find what works for you.

i know this speed stuff is heaps bad man but idk before i step foot in my car i say to myself dont speed ****** that stuff but idk when i see another car giving me a challange my mind turns on me.
i think its cause growing up highly influenced by games etc

never.speed....

the only time speeding is allowed, is on the track (race track, not your local neighbourhood road with a roundabout) or on the 1/4mile..


simple as that.. if you can't resist the urge, i suggest you hand in your license and sell your car.

nah man i wouldnt ever think of speeding in streets u never know when a kid pops out of a driveway then ur stuffed ill be honest i did speed on hwy's and free ways 2 am in the morning
