Well,
The next saga in my pathetic and undeserved ordeal.. Today whilst driving I lost power steering. Stopped, popped the bonnet and was greeted by an empty system. The hose that goes between the front of the radiator, (metal pipe) and the rack has semi popped off on the metal pipe side.. If you catch my drift. From what I can tell the stupid mungrels that replaced it under warranty have cut that section of hose far too short, so it's barely held in place by the hose clamp. Is this small section of hose cheap to replace? If it's not I'll turn up at their workshop tommorow with an angry look on my face. : Just so sick of this cars problems.. Spontaniously f*cks up at every turn. :( Matt. |

Sounds like the return line. Make sure if you replace it is proper power steering hose (not fuel line) and use good quality EFI hose clips . Is not overly expensive for the hose.
