I'm just wondering what I would have to do to use the au series 2/3 remotes on an au1? I really hate the remotes they use on the au1; the buttons are bad, they break easily (plus people think you drive an e-series :P) and the later series ones look much better/sturdier.
So yes can they be used on a series 1? And if so, how?

Not totally correct Austin, Series 1's got smartlock, series 1 upgrade and onwards had smartshield. But no, the series 2 remotes won't work on series one cars.
