Angry aufalcon.com.au's site annoys me!!!

I'm trying to update my car's profile pics, i deleted the old ones and added in the new ones..clicked update and then it like erased all the new pics i tried to put up and kept the old ones i originally had on there! Does this happen to alot of people and HOW do you fix it so the right pics upload to your profile?

Cheers!

I find that it does this but if you leave it for a while and come back later it will update them. Thinks it's more to do with the server updating and stuff

Cheers

If you can't login, try lowering your web browser security so that it accepts cookies properly.

If you're not seeing updated pictures, go to your car profile page and hold down Ctrl and click the refresh button. This bypasses your browser cache.

Is there a size limit on the pics you can post up. I've tried to load up a couple of sizeable pics and it acts as if it has loaded them but it hasn't, even after refreshing.

The size limit is quite high, I believe.

What are the file names? Try removing any extra dots . from the file names before uploading.

Eg. file.name.jpg becomes filename.jpg

It only supports GIFs, JPGs (or JPEGs) and PNGs.

That would explain it, it's a BMP file. Bugger, they look crappy if I convert them.

The size was set to 999Kb. It's now 2Mb. Please try again.

Go to your browser tools / config and delete the temporary internet files / browser cache.

Your cache setting must be very high or some other third party element is causing heavy caching.

As for the BMP files, I'm not sure why they're not working. :(

Perhaps this is now a case of we used to work with just the .com site, perhaps .com.au's code hasn't been updated as much?

Cheers

I still can't load up my bmp images but I have worked around it. The pics don't look quite as good. I cheated and saved them to my pc from the pics I had uploaded to photobucket. Not ideal but it works.
