Unless you're talking Mustangs, where the K-code is the ORIGINAL 289ci V8 hi-po Muzzy and the basis of the original Shelby cars...

A lot of people are under the assumption that because their engine number ends with the letter K that it is a 351.
The K in this instance denotes that the car is fitted with a V8. There is a more in depth explanation in the "X" series or classic falcons sub-forum. |

a k code gs fairmont would be a sweet car. like a stealth gt (altho with less outright grunt)
probably rarer to see these days amongst all the gts and clones |
