Default air flow sensor mods???

i recently have seen on ebay someone claiming that they have a mod for the air flow sensor, what i could make of it is that it is a resistor that tricks the cpu into mixing a larger amount of fuel..... saying it gains up to 20 bhp, does anyone know about this mod?? and is it safe if so would my 2001 xr8 ute gain more power or pick up?

Mixing extra fuel wont make the car more powerful it doesn't work like that.

The best fuel to air ratio is stoichometric with the prime reason for traditional V8's running rich was to cool the motor through evaporative heat transfer with the fuel.

not sure maybe i read it wrong maybe it isnt the fuel... was pretty early in the morn when i was looking at it...
ok i just had another look at the product.
it is saying that it tricks the cpu into thinking that it is colder air outside and then the cpu adjusts the air/fuel ratio and timing??
does that sound right and can it do damage?

Leaves the ECU in start up mode , ie, cold mode. Just runs it rich, may feel good, but itll kill your economy, and your ecu will relearn quick as.
