Some people may think this a silly question, but are the Transmission Lines aluminium or steel?
Also, when fittiing a cooler is it necessary to flare the pipe ends before connecting the rubber pipes to them? Cheers Rosscoe |

Not sure what they are made from - something metallic. I'd bet on steel though, but could be copper or brass.
You should flare the pipe if you can. I kind of flared mine using long nose pliers, and then fed plenty of rubber hose (4 to 6 inches) onto the pipe and double clamped it.

Pipes are steel, as with flaring, JC's idea works well, I also do this & haven't seen any problems with it.

I will try and get hold of a pipe flarer, if not, the pointy nose pliers will do, thanks for the feedback guys!

has multiple sizes in the 1 kit duno what the cost is just saw it at work tonite

Thanks, was going to check out Supercheap, I know that Just Tools in South Melb, has a mini pipe cutter for $14 and a couple of pipe flarer kits, one at $29 and one at $47, but will see if I can borrow one first.
