Default FG11 android phones

been meaning to solve this for ages.
FG11 XR6 and Samsung phone. If I use hand held phone and dial out the number apears on the ICC screen, but when someone phones in there is no recognition of contact person, is there somewhere that I can change this.

Also how can I use steering wheel controls to end a conversation?

For the address book, in your Bluetooth options, allow sharing of contact information. "Allow contacts and call history"

My phone is an Android phone as well. Pixel to be exact.

When you do into the Bluetooth settings, look for the car. Then click the sub settings for that device. You'll see it there.

Contact Sharing. Turn that on.

Just a note, the issue with Samsung is that it isn't really Android. It's Samsung's skin on Android. I hate it. Pixel is a cleaner Android and much easier to use.

Pixel is a line of phones from Google. Google developed the Android operating system. Samsung use this as well but put their skin on it.

You can't put that on your Samsung. You have to buy a Google pixel phone.

Sorry to add to your confusion.

Did the turning on of the contacts fix your problem?

Another way to do it is to forget the phone on your car and delete the Bluetooth entry on your phone. Pair them again and during the process your phone will ask you if you'd like to share your contact and call information. Say Yes and it will trigger your car to download your phone contact list.

thanks guys, well and truly over the worst of it, but the chemo treatment can be shyte. TMedical team want it to continue foranother 2 years as 'insurance' then they try new variations to see how the body reacts.
How she copes is beyond me, no taste buds everything tastes bland yukky and dead nerves on the outer skin on her feet. But she keeps going, always in the shed with her creative artwork.
