I noticed Google maps and live traffic nsw both have the 'road closed' symbol on the Newell between Narrabri and Edgeroi.
 I rang the number on thy live traffic app and couldn't get through to an actual person and all the recordings said no alerts to broadcast. I can't find any info regarding any closure. Only info regarding ongoing roadworks. I came through 3 weeks ago no problem. I have no idea if this symbol was showing up back then as I didn't look. I'm heading back south tomorrow so thought I'd ask on here just in case someone could give me some info as to the road conditions. Much loved member Roger (GasoLane) used to help me out with this sort of stuff. Thanks in advance for any help.

Waze shows drivers reporting construction along there, but no closures.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just roadworks. The road closed symbol and description is confusing the situation I think.
