Why? that seems like 3.39 billion too much, Foxtel has pretty much run itself into the ground, overpriced, crap repeated on a loop for days on end, loaded with ads, dropping channels ( well ones I used to watch ) etc, seeing that most people now have smart TV's, firesticks etc and what's out there now for streaming is pretty cheap from all the other providers, they would have to have something that no one else has that is worth the exorbitant monthly fee ( which they really don't ) to make it a worthwhile purchase.

I only have Kayo and Binge. Never bothered with a full on Foxtel Service.

Yeah we have most of them on offer, but still all of them combined are cheaper than Foxtel have ever been per month, dumped them a while back.

Not surprised. Having had it for a number of years, decided to can my subscription a few months ago. Their movies all became re-runs, the only sport worth holding on to was the AFL so was useless during summer, their news during the day was good, but their after dark programs were just all propaganda mouth pieces.

The only thing I'm going to miss is HBO cos they had some good series like GoT and HOTD. In the US you can subscribe to just HBO, but thats not available here yet.

Compare that to Prime, for example, gets you prime membership with fast free shipping on goods, new films get added frequently, and for $10 a month.

Will get Kayo when footy starts again. I just hope we don't become like the UK where practically all sports require a subscription service.

100% sounds what we do now.

Foxtel’s business model is broken.
