As title says just after some advice on cleaning up tranny fluid cause stupid me didn't drain it before removing the motor and gearbox now have big stains on the driveway.

Assuming it's concrete, go and get a can or two of oven cleaner and spray it heavily onto the area. Scrub with a stiff brush and hose off. You might have to repeat it but that will get rid of it.

Tranny fluid is not as bad as engine oil, it goes away after a while out in the sun and elements, even after you clean it you will still se a stain, after a few months it will be gone.

Was thinking that but sadly the Fairlane ain't quite that long. It a good 5 meter + spill. Didn't notice it entill I seen it coming out from under the front

Workshop floor cleaner...does what it says.
Its a powder, you wet floor, sprinkle powder on, brush in with old broom, hose off after 5 mins or so. It will kill grass so be careful where you hose it too. |
