Sisters Focus has what i think are heavily warped rotors at the front. Planning on replacing them and the pads I suppose, two quotes I got so far for what I think were OEM/Genuine ford rotors $150-175 EACH.
Absurd prices. I've seen from the previous threads that rotors/pads are a common problem on the Focus. So i'm looking at DBA brakes and some other generic brands where I can get them for a cheaper price. So far I have RDA/EBC and DBA on the list - anything else? What about ebay purchases Everyone is closed sunday so I can't get a quote, but judging by ebay prices, the OEM quotes are a bloody rip off. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DBA-DBA21...fedf3fe&_uhb=1 E.g 82 for single DBA disc shipping included - anyone running the DBA rotors? On a side note, gave the thing a bit of a drive, nothing like my 206 but it does have a europeany feel |

DBA rotors are bloody good, especially compared to OEM. My first set of DBA rotors lasted at least twice as long as the OEMs.
Brembo are now also doing OEM replacement equivalents, at a good price, check those out online as well. |
