Hey guys, probably going to Herrod on Thursday to get the Stainless cat back from herrod, want to know, from experience, if you think ill be fully happy with the sound? The last thing i want is that crappy and constant Drone on a freeway, but am keen for a beautiful V8 roar when i plant my foot.
So will i be satisfied with my current XR8 headers and the Herrod cat back stainless?

About a year or so ago, i went to a Ford vs Holden show, and there was a Herrod stand with a few cars, there with different mods and what not..
there was a lush looking AU XR8 that had some minor mods, one of which being a full herrod motorsport stainless exhaust system.. and I can honestly say it sounded awsome.. I think you'll be very pleased.. my dads got a 302w with a "home brand" exhaust that does sound very nice but it dosent compare to herrods.. |

The one im looking at is the single 2 1/2 from cat back. Apparently my headers are the good 220 ones so i wont be replacing those. I could get the twin pipes right through, but the engine is currently stock and will stay that way for at least a year or two and apparently i therefore dont need the twin system?
The single 2 1/2 still splits into 2 around the IRS mind you. I imagine ill be happy... but its always good to get opinions...
