Hi guys,
The rear number plate on my sisters focus was stolen the other day and they took the screws with it. Im going to buy the security screws now so they cant be taken out after we replace it. It is very frusting...... What size thread and what length do I need to replace it the screws for the number plate on an LS hatch? Thanks in advance. |

I did this on mine, you can get free screws from the police station which will fit any car.

Thanks for the reply, we rang the police station on the weekend however their crime prevention department was closed and only open Monday to friday. I went to repco and bought the security screws there. I ended up drilling the rivet type attachment they have an putting a nut and bolt security head on the plates. I took the trim off on the inside.
Now if someone wants the plates they have to work extremely hard. I put silicon in the hole to make sure we get no water leaks. |
