Hi guys,
With Christmas time approaching, a group of us (around 4 families) are planning a trip/Holiday for a five day period. At the moment we are unsure of where to go and was hoping that you guys may be able to share some ideas there will be around 16 people of a variety of age groups. A few simple criteria -Preferably withing 6 hours drive of Melbourne (that is it) If anyone has any places a bit further out that may suite a big group please post them |

Lakes entrance. I passed there last year for the first time on the way to malacoutta. With the sun out, the place glowed. I'm planning on making stop over this year there on my way to malacoutta if the weather is good enough.

If the families are into a little drink and stuff, then head up towards, Beechworth, Swan Hill, Echuca, Robinvale. and dont forget Adelaide, and the Adelaide hills is only 7-8 hour drive and then there are plenty of things to do whilst there, Victor Harbour and the wineries....Great family things...and some cheap accom can be found as well...I found these websites very helpful for planning a trip www.travelmate.com.au and www.needitnow.com.au
Cheers
