Scammed a corporate pass to the Ford tent on the weekend. It was interesting to see the security at work.
At the door "Superman's second cousin's best mate" (security guard) was busy inspecting passes of everyone even if they had passed through 2 minutes before. The door lady was quite reasionable and had a fairly good knowlege of what was going on. Unfortunatly she went on a break and a temp took the station. A man without a pass was moving quickly into the doorway and when she demanded to see it he seemed to be more intetested in what was happening on the stage. She was quite perturbed that this person didn't think she was the most important thing in the marquee and called the security guard to eject this interloper. The 'bandit' was intercepted and asked to leave..... This could have turned really bad except for the intervention of one of the guests at the table next to mine who explained to the "super heros" that Jason Bright (the 'bandit') was actually a V8SC driver and was the speaker that was being waited on up on the stage. Now it is quite probable that the rent-a-cops might not recognise FORD PERFORMANCE RACING's primary driver and suspect he might have some sort of commitment in the FORD BLUE OVAL CLUB but you would think the FPR RACING SUIT would be a bit of a give away wouldn't you? |

Haha good stuff! Not surprising if the jackass door people at Pukekohe are anything to go by.
