Default FPV Merchandise

Yesterday the handbrake & I were strolling through a retail store & found a bunch of discounted quilt covers. In the pile was this FPV quilt cover discounted from $70 down to $10. Has the merchandise bubble burst? You don't seem to see as much compared to a year ago. Any comments?

It was a large independant retail store in a country town, not a chain store.

Yeah, it's not as easy to find as it was a year or so ago, and when you do find it they've priced it to move...

Pity.

Whoa that quilt cover looks awesome. Mum bought me a GTHO quilt cover for $60 which was half price. Also got a Ford mink blanket, pillows, towels, stubby holders, etc. Must say the merchandise is getting better for Ford and FPV but still not as good as Holden/HSV.

Holden stuff is getting a bit excessive though, I remember seeing a holden mountain bike not too long ago.

Half the problem with v8 supercar merchandise is it's plastered with sponsor logos or giant Ford or Holden signs. About the only place you can wear in your face merchansie like that is at the track.

I really like the range Tripple Eight racing has. They are very fashionable and can be worn in the street alot easier.

Check out lifestyle section http://www.teambetta.com/t8_shop2.cfm and you will see.

Wonder if they're going to need a full rebuild after 5,000km...

Makes perfect sense to me, just the thing to remind you of why you're riding a bike after your VY V8 runs out of oil... :hihi:

In all seriousness, I've got a great pair of Ford shoes here that I found in our local Kmart ages ago. Myself, LuvinmyEB, my brother and a few other people have all been looking for exactly the same thing ever since, and have not been able to find any! Which sucks, because they're really comfy. :

A mates girlfriend who worked at a target/k-mart etc used to hang onto stuff she liked at the stores coz after a month or so they keep discounting the items to clear until they get rediculously low and get sold.

She had a camera she wanted so she snuck it away and waited til it got discounted enough within her price range, then bought it !

I guess the same prob happens everywhere.

Thats pretty common. I'm the one in charge of marking things down where I work, so I let everyone know. The staff get first choice on everything.

Exactly, whats what I thought when I saw this years Merchandise, FPR are really bad, I counted 19 logos on one shirt and SBR dont seem to have much range this year. 888 stuff is really good though I agree, I'm gonna get some mail order next week.

Big W at Eastland had a whole stand of them, but they only went to size 12 so none fit me. Try your local Big W they might have some in stock. They were a skate shoe and felt very well paded.

Regards

My daughter works at Big W and they had two ranges of the Ford shoes...the skate type, you mentioned, and another more dressier jogger, so she bought them both. They are getting in a good range of Ford gear now, as opposed to none! They are still WAY behind in the kids range though e

the Tripple8 gear is great and my kids have bought a fair stack of it at the tracks this year, but with Craigs popularity, plus having a young family himself, it was inevitable that they would come up with such a vast range.
