What do'ya know..........Ford dropped out the box to check the clutch with one week of warranty left & would you believe, there telling me the gearbox selection & high point on the clutch was DUE TO WEAR!!! Sure it was, what else would they tell me - hear you go matey hears a new clutch on us, replaced under warranty - FAT CHANCE. Anyway all, I need recomendations for a reliable, good quallity, reasonably priced clutch and associated parts.
I baby this vehicle (most of the time) so a high performance one is probably not necessary. All your feedback appreciated, cheers. |

How long have you owned the car and how many k's does it have on it?
Most of the time a clutch will never be covered by warranty unless in the case of an explsoive failure, eg Typhoon. If its just old, then you have no chance. Clutches are a consumable item. PBR and daikin (spelling?) are the most commonly used clutches around here I think. |
