Exclamation Problems with AU I6 or Auto?

(I tried to do a search 1st)
I am thinking of puting in an AU I6 and AU 4spd Auto in my EL, is there any problems with the engine or auto that i should get checked before its fitted?

I heard the base model EL engine was better than the AU with larger ports.....

I think the AU had lower friction pistons though
