Gday all, juts wondering where there is to fish in Canberra?? I've got a job starting next week in Hume, will go for about a month. Staying in Queabeyan, just wondering where are some local spots to fish at??

Only thing I've caught in Canberra is carp. :
I heard many people talk about Googong Dam. Whether it's open or any good I have no idea. If you interested in a trek, you could always head for Bateman's Bay on the coast though. |

I dont think they are allowing fishing in Googong, because its so low.

Prefer streams usually but either really, always enjoy fishing wherever it is.
