Not sold on the front yet, need to see it in person. Looks much better then previous pics thankfully. Interior looks like a big step up. Doesn't look like there are paddle shifts on the steering wheel. I refuse to believe a 40K US SS Chev gets them and a 100K Aussie GTS the best Holden/HSV ever made, doesn't.

Rear end looks its channeling Kia or something. Apart from that, I'm liking the spec sheets.

Rear is too narrow, and the front has a swollen bottom lip...

Looks very nice indeed. Looks wise, I think the Senator is the pick of the bunch.

I second that, now how do you stick the GTS engine into it?

I like that they're going the "subtle" route. The people who can afford that sort of thing don't usually want something that screams "look at me look at me", covered in wings and stickers...more a luxury grand touring sedan type thing going on there. Think of makers like Aston Martin...they're amazing, outstanding, achingly beautiful cars...but if you see one drive by, they don't actually scream at you demanding attention.
A lot of makers could take a lesson from that sort of thinking... |

HSV have a video up on their site that gives a nice overview of the GTS features. They also now have specs up on all models in the new range.
http://www.hsv.com.au/gen-f/see/gts/ Drive have a video up as well: http://news.drive.com.au/drive/motor...514-2jjzs.html Last edited by DanielXR8; 15-05-2013 at 08:59 AM. |

I just really dont like that rear end and the lights look to Epica for me. The package is good though and if I was forced then Senator seems nice; HSV offer them in a manual IIRC?

Front looks great, rear looks rubbish. GTS has really lifted the bar for Aussie cars.

As much as I don't like the styling, the rest of the package, especially the GTS, is massively impressive.

I'm really surprised of so many "likes" about its looks.
I don't have the money to buy a HSV/FPV so my opinion is only on a vote on what looks nice and what I'd imagine what would look nice in my drive way. Not sure about this until I see it in the flesh

Tail lights and headlights look crap in my opinion. When I squint I see a large version of a Japanese hatchback

I think the GTS will look better with the R8 or Senator lip instead of the wing
Imagine one of these in auto with the ZF in it instead of the crappy 6L90e |
