This is the one I'd take... and then shove the new one's engine in it!

Wouldn't be a bad job actually!
But yeah, I've always liked that particular colour on the VEs. |

VZ's Hell yes!
Never liked the lights on the VE HSV's...they look small and miss-placed...ruins the flow of the wedge shape..

All the Holden pics come out and suddenly there's some positive discussion here for a change
I really liked (and still do) the VT II GTS. And the VY, and the VZ.... ....and the E3.... |

I'd like a VY GTS series II which were made by order only in the rarest colour (Ultra Violet, not the same as Cosmo purple) :
They look good in another rare colour too which is HSV racing green. Look at the difference lol |

I thought the C4B cars were so damn cool when they came out. They may have had some issues, but to me they represented an era where a Holden Special Vehicle was actually special. They still look good on the roads today. I usually notice when a nice VT-VZ drives past. VE's are a bit meh.

It'd be nice if Holden imported these, too. Especially at that price!

Its funny, with all the hoo-hah HSV made with the visual differences for the VE between SS and the HSV's, they have completely gone the opposite way with this and done stuff all between the 2.

Man I keep looking that pic and laughing out loud, all those people in a chain and no one said wtf?
Also a general design note, cant stand tail or headlight "popping" out from the body line. If its like that its going to be interesting to see if the sales continue after the honeymoon period.

Looks like fail to me. The rear just looks wrong. But it does make the ve gts with the busy front end look better.

I do not think pictures do this car justice. Congratulations to HSV for setting a new benchmark in Australian performance cars.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=pThVsRJ4u9M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WCuZocUIR8 I too do not think they look great in pictures but in the videos they look a lot better and I am sure you wont miss one when you see it on the road. Last edited by XtRmn8; 15-05-2013 at 01:07 AM. |

No doubt the HSV supporter base will rally around the new VF range and propel sales along.
For me, VF's tear drop lights look large / wrong in that front design and the rear of the car seems to have conflicting styles between tail light shape and body contours, it looks confusing. I hope that the 2014 Falcon has an aggressive front and that the tail lights are made narrower and follow the boot contour rib, I think those details will make huge change to the look of the car. |

Interesting rear end design, like the no vent bonnet. Huge step up for HSV

Not a fan of the VF Commodore at all, the headlights remind me of an Epica and the proportions just don't look right in my opinion.
I may stand corrected when I see one in the flesh, but at this stage I'm a naysayer - styling is subjective anyway..... |
