Well, first it was the GT Stripes, then our old skool bonnet GT bonnets.
Now the BA Bulge. Whats next i wonder.

Not sure if i like it though...

Good to see the Conversion Girls(pictured below) are having an effect!

Didn't a bloke down in Vic start making the bulges to suit the VY onwards? I seem to remember readinga bout it in a Street Machine months ago. They were definately getting upstaged by the fact the Ford had one so a dude started producing some to fit Holdens.

Atleast its something different.

Theres a very nice light metallic blue VH commodore SLE wagon going around in campbellfield with a proper steel BA bonnet bulge grafted into the standard bonnet.
It looks quite good, and isnt to over the top for it.
Before people start bagging it, the car runs flat 11's in full street trim, and is holden powered.

Sorry but who cares anymore, Ford don't hold a patent or a licence to stripes and bulges, owners can do what they want, and can do any sort of mod they want.

You dont hear Audi complaining that IMHO ford modelled the BA lights off them.

Dr Ute. Saw it at Tuggerah. First impressions arn't always the best, especially when you see it in a magazine. See the car up close and you'll see that their is so much attention to detail that the work is exceptional. A lot of money has gone into the car. It's a well presented car and apparently it is normal for the car to get best in Show. I beleive Tuggerah was no different. Anyway, a few more pics

There was a dark coloured commodore (black or dark grey) at WSID a few weeks ago with a bulge, looks like It's becoming a trend

I don't like it. I can be a bit picky at times but I don't reckon the bulge suits the car. The first giveaway is the big curved bonnet sitting above the sharp corners of the headlights. It doesn't flow with the car. And for some reason, which I can't quite work out entirely, it seems to make the grille look very weird.

Not a fan. Well done for the effort, though. Now, if only someone could fit an XB GT bonnet to a BA/BF. That'd be interesting. And yes, I did see it on that Hawk-kitted AU. That thing looked pox though.

Dr Cute. : Saw it up at Tuggerah. Not a bad ute and as Bucky said the attention to detail was excellant.

Yeah I agree.

It just doesn't seem to match properly. The wheels, the bonnet, seems too tacked on and doesn't flow with the rest of the car.

It doesn't look too bad at all. Wheels suck though.
Kind of reminds me of a Chev powered HQ Belmont that ran around my hometown years and years ago. It had a shaker, toploader, 9" diff, 12 slot rims, XB mirrors, GT rear wing and the owner use to claim Ford's sucked....

It looks alright, but even with the buldge the front bar and headlights let it down, not nearly as nice looking as BA Pursuit IMO.
