In theory.. 40 hours.
In practice I get in late about 30 minutes almost every day and spend a bit of time on the forums... but I also get up early and catch 7am flights and get home later (9-11pm) from trips too.. so I guess it works out even. Kinda..

I want to know hoe=w the government gets 38 hours as the average worked per week. And also, why the big uproar over sweatshop workers that are so bad off because they work 50-70 hours per week? Just my thoughts for the time being.

25-30 hrs per week, based out of home, consulting as / when needed.

Life style change for me has been huge....... was a manager averaging prob 60, plus the travel time to from work.

Just discovering now how good life can be. And that work is not everything.

8 hour days Monday to Friday, then 10 hr days on weekends

If it wasnt for the drag day last weekend it would be a very long stretch since I had a saturday or sunday off, discounting the xmas holidays. Cant wait to get my own business going to get my weekends back!

mon-thurs is uni time... (5 subject semesters)

But during break i do 2 extra days at work(12 hour days plus OT)

so, 64 hours a week during uni holidays. 40 during uni time..

Its good to have a few weeks of a lot of hours though, you really notice it payday

I do 40 hours minimum. I love to rack up a little overtime here and there. I tend to do 9-10 hours most days, then i work 1-2 days on the weekends. I like to occasionally do something stupid like work 15 hours on a saturday or something like that. Not cause I enjoy work, no no no. Because I own a falcon and need to spend money on it.

55 - 60 hours per week. Depends if i come in on a weekend or not. Also depends on how much travel (a day in melbourne means get to airport @ 5:30am and get back at 8 or 9pm)....

Salary pay so no overtime, theoretically could do a 38hr week. They make up for it at bonu$ time tho.

Government job on an AWA - the best of both worlds.

Usually about 9hrs a day X 5, but being a soldier comes with the privelige of working whenever they want you to, and not getting paid a cent extra....and then theres the bush time where you pretty much work 24/7 and get a whopping $32 extra a day!
....Please God send me overseas where the gov cant tax me....

Depends some weeks are 50-60 hours ... but most weeks are 60-70 hours.
With the odd week going well over 70 hours a week.

Depends on my shifts with Optus and how much courier work I do in my off time from Optus.

40-60 for me, depending on my workload.

Some days are pretty cruisy whereas others I'm on the road from about 6am to 9pm. Some weekends as well, depending if a client desperately needs to see me (like the one I'm driving from Mornington to Bendigo to see this Sunday :yeees: )

Interesting social study! You could send results to the government so they have some accurate demographic data.

BTW I work 36.5hr weeks. How people do 60 hours is beyond me!!
