you can buy from ford a conversion loom, this allows you to plug a loom into a series 2/3 headlight to "convert" it into a series 1.... so i guess (at the extra expense of getting the loom) you can convert it to work - perhaps when you buy those lights, you have to specify s1, 2 or 3
i havent seen weather the loom thats attached to the body of a series 2/3 can actually be removed........ hope this helps |

im a headlight repairer....much like the_dok... ive been doing it for 5 years so i know too much.....
im glad to actually be able to use the information i have to help people understand things.... |
