I don't think they have, I believe we'll still see a GT500 at a later date. If the launch spec is MY15, GT350 will probably be MY16 so I think GT500 will be MY17.

Can't call it Boss302 if it's not longer a 302, but a 5.2 litre. Hence the GT 350 moniker IMO.

Just a re-shuffle of nomenclature, GT-350 effectively picks up where the Boss (and Laguna Seca) sat as a circuit focused product, while the GT-500 is set to sit above the GT-350 with the possibility of twin turbos, effectively becoming the strip weapon.

Irrespective, GT-350 never stood for anything related to the engine, something to do with how many steps it too between Carroll Shelby's office or some such...

BOSS302 only worked because of the original too, that being named after the engine. It would be a cop out to keep that going with the modern engines.
