Gauges

I plan on having the au up and running with a turbo over the next 2 weeks. What im wondering is I have some gauges (water/oil temp) and im wondering is the water temp gauge going to give the same reading as the temperature gauge on my cluster? Does anyone know where exactly the temp gauge in the au gets its reading from. If its of no use might replace it with a fuel pressure gauge as im sure the car is going to be drinking the fuel.
