looks nice, i reckon just having the falcon on it would be ace, under the gauges, chromed/silvered/brushed metal would set it of perfectly

Thanks Whoosha for keeping everyone informed. They are now complete and will be posted up on ebay shortly. In the search bar on ebay.com.au type in AU TWIN GAUGE POD and it should find the listing for you. All details and info will be shown in the listing.

Aly & Brian

PS: We dont sell the gauges. The gauges shown above in Whoosha's pic have been brought from ebay for around $50 each. Brand name "OPTION" for those interested

they look good, though now that the molds made, it might be possible to make more money by selling them at a slightly lower price. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying if it was cheaper I'd buy 1

We only have 7 made at this time, 1 has already sold.

The cost and time involved in making these pods have taken over 3-4 months and dont forget its a 1 man job! Plus he's making the BA ones as well.

Why $90?

It took 4 wooden dyes to get the protype right, we had to purchase a whole console to work on, 4Ltrs of plastic filler, aluminium resin dye (very expensive), ABS plastic from Sth Aust, pay for use of the moulding machine, 1 hour preperation for each pod, purchase of a aerosol filling machine $500, purchase of enough paint to paint at least 20 pods $150, purchase of aerosol cans with no paint in them $11 each plus all the nick nack things like sand paper, thinners, velcro and packaging.

Thats how we come up with the price, but in time when we retrieve some of our costs. The price will ultimately come down by about $10 depending on how well they sell.

Hope this answers all your questions

Good question ... I'd prefer to pay direct into an account and have it sent direct ... saves having to go through eBay for me.

I am interested in purchasing direct (after next Thursday ... when i get paid).

$90 is cheap ... I remember looking at getting an A-pillar mounted gauge pod for a previous vehicle ... and they cost a lot more than that to buy. And it looked like there was less work involved in making them too.

I am definitely one of the interested parties in getting one of these for the ute :

Woudl you be able to confirm with me your account number via pm? When I try to use the one listed on ebay to pay for the pod it says your account number is too long.

Its a shame planned on lowering my car next weekend too, now that wont happen for a few months
