I just switched out my stock head unit for a Kenwood dpx u5130bt unit.
After wiring it up and modifying the original Focus brackets, its fits great and is very solid. The problem I have is the fascia I got does not fit into the space around the head unit. Apparently the unit is not regular 2 Din size, but it fits perfectly using the original brackets, so I am at a loss. Also, I have tried to contact multiple places about getting something to fit, with no avail. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions? Cheers |

Where is it not fitting? Around the edges of the head unit? You might be able to lightly file/sand it out bigger without butchering it to fit if thats the case.
If it wont clip in, then you might need to find an aftermarket facia. |

I have the aftermarket one, but its too thick on the sides, and not thick enough on the top and bottom.
I have thought about trying to modify it, but its never gonna look like its supposed to be there. Hopefully I can find one somewhere, Ive been looking a lot for about 2 weeks now. |
