Once your sd card is corrupted, there is nothing you can do... you've lost the pics. I had that happen to me, and was referred to a guy who was a specialist at retrieving stuffed sd cards, and even he couldn't get it to work.
Get a new sd card or two and next time make sure you format it/them regularly.

If you have them only on the card your all outa luck, BUT, if the internal memory of the camera has the files stored as well then you can download to a computer or to your new card. Good luck!

There are heaps of apps floating around on the net for corrupted photo retreival. The names escape me at the moment but a google search would no doubt get you in the right direction.

There is ALWAYS ways of retrieving data. Some of them are more successful then others. The catch is to make sure that you haven't over written any of the data that was stored on the cards.
It is possible to recapture data(or any other storage medium) on a card that has been formatted. Theres a LOT of different products out there. If the Konica is recognising the pics fine, sounds like the files are perfectly fine. Try using a dedicated card reader, might need to buy one, a lot of these come with the usb lead you require anyway. |

How about trying the USB cable for the Kodak camera to connect your camera to the PC? Those camera USB leads are all pretty much the same (I'm using my original Sony lead to connect my new Nikon to my lappy with no dramas).
Failing that, just wait till you get home and do it then.
