Hello all,
With some changes at work recently i may need to use my XF falcon occasionally for some work related things. My boss and I have been trying to work out a suitable cents per km amount that he can pay me for me using my car for jobs. Including, petrol (gas or ULP), rego, insurance, maintenance, tyres & costs towards buying another car when it dies (based on 300,000) My calculations came up with about 21c/km so i was thinking if he paid me 30c/km it should be good. If anything i just want to make sure i am on top and have not lost by using my car for work. I know i can keep log books etc for tax but i would prefer doing it this way.. Anyway, just interested what your thoughts are on this subject, should it be more? Its amazing when you sit down and go through the figures, you realize the amount you pay in fuel is really only a small part of the TOTAL cost of owning and running a vehicle. Thanks. Erik. |
