How can I get the phone number of the person who is prank calling me??

Hi everyone,

Long story short, I have been getting prank calls at all hours of the night and I've had Optus investigate for me. They have worked out who it is and they have sent them a warning letter but due to "privacy laws" they won't tell me who it was. I am 99% sure who it is as this person has history in doing this before and has previously been sent warning letters about it from other network providers. There is a court case coming up soon which involves this person for a different matter but if I had proof that it was in fact them who was pranking me, it might help in court to prove what sort of a person they are.
Does anybody know if you are able to get this info given to you from the phone provider, and if so how do I get it??
