Firstly, I am a Falcon lover and a Ford Man. I have become more entrenched in my devotion as time has gone on.
But at the end of the day, for whatever reason, Ford has chosen to nolonger service my wants, and in doing so has driven another nail into the coffin of Australian manufacturing. To be honest I hate Holdens, with an irrational passion. I will love and cherish my old Falcons till the day I die. But for those of us that come to looking at buying a new car in the near future, is it time to start batting for the other team? I don’t know what the future is for Commodore, but assuming for the moment it stays reasonably “Australian,” should we throw our weight behind one of the last vestiges of Australian Auto Manufacturing? I'm sure many remaining fleet Falcon buyers will now switch.
