Put the deposit down on my new car this morning...the 'customer care' lady was rambling on about paint protection and leather protection, yada yada yada...made a compelling argument for it. $1695 was the price they gave for paint, leather, vinyl and fabric.
I'm not really concerned with the fabric, leather, vinyl stuff (it will have covers over the seats anyway), but I'm curious on the paint protection as to whether that's worth it either. She rattled off something about if a panel is damaged and you replace it three years down the track it will look out of place. So, worth it? Or not?
