Ford Australia, a leader in award winning automotive design, is the 'Design and Engineering Centre of Excellence' for the Asia Pacific Region. Ford Australia is looking to expand its design team, offering multiple opportunities at their design studio in Melbourne, Australia.

Current Vacancies at Ford of Australia;

Digital Modellers - Development of digital surface models from concept through to Class A release using Alias / ICEM Surf
Designers - Tertiary qualifications with experience in Exterior & Interior automotive design and appropriate skills in Alias and Photoshop
Clay Modellers - Minimum 3 years experience in an automotive studio environment. Experience with both scale and full size clay models and components, both exterior and interior
Colour & Trim Designers - Colour development, material development and colour matching of plastics, paint and soft trim. Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is required
Studio Engineers - Understanding of studio, design and engineering processes as well as a sound knowledge of feasibility, packaging and manufacturing processes. CATIA experience preferred

Successful candidates will have tertiary qualifications in Automotive Design, Industrial Design, Product Design or Engineering as well as relevant automotive design experience.

Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
