How much effort do you put into your relationships? Do you just do the bare minimum just to keep her around or do you actually try to make her happy? I'm just curious on how often you do something nice for your girl. Is it daily, monthly, or almost never?

With me, it depends on the girl. This is where the whole 'high maintenance' / 'low maintenance' labeling comes from. Some women are happy and will stay in a relationship if you do next to nothing, others want to be doted on constantly. I can deal with either end of the spectrum, but if it is on-going relationship then you should get as well as you give. Meaning, I'm not going to stay around long if I'm doing really nice stuff all the time, but am not seeing that reciprocated.
