Hi there,
Just got an unroadworthy sticker on my car over in perth (nsw rego-XB falcon) and the wrong rego number was put on all the forms including the sticker affixed to the window. My question is what do I do as I am led to believe that it can be a costly exercise to get it removed. Car apparently has to fitted with an immobiliser, go over the pits (couple of hours inspection) 15min drive round the block etc etc. Now I don't have an issue fixing what I was told was wrong, but I went to the local mechanic to get a quote, and the first thing on the list was that it was too low, the mechanic said it was fine. What are the legal ramifications of the incorrect sticker, given that I fix the defects. (none are dangerous or life threatening) |
