Cheap Tom Tom Navigation for those looking for one... Only problem is, it is from China.... And only comes with European maps! Not sure how much you could buy the Aus maps for.....
~$265 Australia dollars including postage isnt too bad though! But Would it be too risky to get one from China? Tom Tom Go 500 - Ebay |

Avoid at all costs. I don't buy anything from China on Ebay. I'm happy to deal with long time Hong Kong sellers with a proven record, but I will NEVER EVER trust a seller from China. Never!!

Plus I think they are useless without some certain registration code IIRC.
I seen a guy selling cheap Blaupunt DX-V's on there. He'd pop up for a 1 day auction, with his location being Ireland, China (yes that isn't a mistype) and I'd bookmark the auction just to see what happens to it the next day, and it comes up as being de-listed. Definately avoid them at all costs. |

It certainly makes you wonder if people would purchase it... i know i certainly wouldnt But it is interesting them 'trying' even as new users....!
Im hoping to try and get a TomTom 700 (or a newer model) when im in Europe early next year...! Hopefully they will play mp3's etc as well then, and can route the audio through the oem sound system!! |
