hey guys,
My dad owns an XR6T BA, with a set of 17" XR mags, well it did have the standard mags until he made a trip down south and managed to find a nice size pot hole filled with water on a back road in central Queensland. The mag was pretty well stuff with a huge flat spot. He opted to buy after market mags rather than buy one new XR mag. I recently brought an AU series 3 and he said that I could have his XR mags if they fitted and just buy myself a new xr rim to replace the flat spotted one. So I guess my first question is, will they fit my AUIII without spacers or anything like that and what price would I be looking at for a XR mag? Cheers |

They will fit no worries, but no idea on price...

Probably try eBay first, or every now and then some come up for sale in the "For Sale" section of these forums...

New ones are about $550 from Ford.
You will pay about a little bit more for a set of 4 second hand ones with tyres on eBay. |

Try the for sale section, or even fordxr6turbo.com. They've often got wheels for sale in there.

very true, i am at the auctions and wrecking yards on a regular basis due to work and what you sometimes find there is not funny at all. There is a good reason that a lot of auction places and wrecking yards have a closed section where the public is not allowed.
