Has anyone else done this?? im gona do the front on the weekend cos its raining, i gotta take out all the annoying arch plastics in front thou to paint it properly, i must say it looks heaps cleaner inside the guards now too. Nice.

I've been planning on doing this for a while too mate, haven't gotten around to it yet though. Like you said, you get the double bonus of blackening the inside of the wheel arch at the same time as cutting the noise. Let us know how it turns out, I'll probably do mine in the next couple of weeks. Which one did you end up using? I've seen the spray cans at supercheap and autobarn, I was just going to use one of them.

I did my wheel arches and as much of the underneath of the car as I could be bothered at the time with the Supercheap stuff in the 4L can. It cut out a fair bit of road noise after it dried properly but my tires are REALLY noisy so it should be better again when they are due for changing, the cleanliness only lasts untill you go for a drive in the wet the first time :P
Also did the doors and boot with Dynamat which helped a lot too. |

i used the Septone Body deadener in the spray can for the rear, i used a full can for each guard so far, i ended up buying a 1 litre can to brush the front on cos u dont c the front, i might paint the back of the plastics as well it should help, its definately made a difference i took it for a drive before down my driveway which is crush rock and could'nt hear a thing out of the rear.

So, this is a spray paint that has enough consistency to help prevent road noise?
