YEs, mate works for Tooheys, brought some trial ones to a party, very nice.

Aside from that, I'm not much of a beer fan, but Boag's Premiums are nice.

Cooper's Pale Ale. Smooth and no nasty hang-overs.

Coronas. Asahis are nice too, but lack punch.

I like Boags too.

And those TED Platinums are rubbish! I only drink them when I've ran out of my own supply of Cooper's!

Oh yes I prefer bourbon over beer, but if there was no bourbon cans & beer was the only alcoholic thing left in the fridge then I'd drink it. But it depends on my mood. It has to be a hot day for me to drink it.

I generally drink Resches but it's hard to find a pub that serve enough of it, so their Resches tap is generally filthy. I can't understand why more people don't drink it though...

I can't bring myself to drink Toohey's New or VB, they taste too common & blunt to me. Carlton Draught to me is a much nicer beer for the same money. The only thing about Carlton Draught I don't like is the name, "Draught" shouldn't appear in the title, it's only "Draught" when they pull it from the tap. It should be called Carlton Lager.

I'm a huge fan of St. Arnou beers, they make the best Pilsen beer I've ever tasted. They don't bottle their beers, which is kinda good 'cause I'd be so overweight if they did. Ya can't just get St. Arnou at most local pubs, I've only been to about 5 pubs in my life that have it. Give the St. Arnou "Kildara" a try too, it's an awesome desert beer.

I also laugh when I go somewhere like the coogee bay hotel & see all the imported beer on tap. For starters the vast majority of Euro beers aren't supposed to be served cold, whereas the Coogee Bay Hotel has the coldest beer in NSW (proven). Euro beers, any imported beer really need to be drank out of the bottle or can.

I feel like a beer now...

BECKS, or any beer from that part of the world for that matter. Where its an against the law (!) to add preservatives. Nothing but beer malt hops, barley, and yeast. Love a good Pilsner. So true about the serving temperatures of beers! The colder they are the less you taste. But the majority of drinkers (VB and New) like it that way and they are the majority. Don't get me started on American beers! The laughing stock of the beer drinking world.

Try it and you'll know what it's like. A good beer if your not to fond of the taste of the regular stuff. But get the european pils as the aussie one's dont really compare.

A Pilsener is a lager beer that is brewed by using bottom fermenting yeasts, as opposed to most others. Pilsners taste more "grassy" or "hoppy", and are generally better out the bottle rather than on tap.

Some good Pilseners to try are Becks & James Squire Pilsener.
