I was using pulp in my mondy but now due to the large price and back at uni i have gone back to ulp. will this hurt the engine.

nope your engine is tuned for regular, running it on premium will just be like going from Home Brand Baked Beans all your life to Heinz, then Back to Homebrand. The Homebrand ones will still make you fart, just the Heinz ones cost more and taste a little better...
