Default Lucky To Be Alive

Yesterday, I have to say was the worst day of my life.
I was sitting in my car waiting for my 13yr old son to get off his school bus. I was approx 30m away on the other side of the road, when all of a sudden he ran across the road without looking both ways (he only looked to his right) and bang!
It was my worst nightmare, I heard the thump and say him fly into the air to land on the bonnet, well I was off running and screaming etc by the time I got there he had picked himself up and apologised to the driver (who then drove away) and was just standing there.
Unbelievably he only has bruises - no broken bones or blood
I was in worst shock than him, and I thanked God that he was OK. None of the 60 plus witnesses could believe their eyes either that he had no major injuries, considering he left a dent in the front of the car and the bonnet.
I still havent found out what type of car it was and yes we have given my son a huge lecture about danger etc
He is one lucky boy
